The Lippepark Hamm can qualify for the finals of the "Engaged Cities Award" in a field of 120 cities from Europe and North America. The award is presented for the first time in New York to a city that has realized a project with extraordinary public participation.

The Landmark as an important design element of the Lippepark is planned by DRAHEIM STEEL GmbH based on designs by Berghaus Architekten.
